Bigasoft 3GP Converter is a video converter for Windows. The application can open AVI, ASF, WMV, MP4, M4V, MOV, MP3, WAV, M4A, and RA files, among others, and convert them into 3GP, MP4, 3G2, AIFF, MP3, and WAV files. 3GP is a great format for mobile phones and thus it has conversion profiles for the Gphone, Blackberry, Palm Pre, Motorola phones, LG phones, Samsung phones, among others.
The application comes with a very basic video editor that allows you to trim or crop your videos and to add a few video effects to it. The editor can also be used to touch up your image's brightness, contrast, and saturation. There is also support for watermarks, which can be made from text or images. You can also set the position on the screen for these watermarks. A video player is also on the main screen, which allows you to preview your files before conversion.
In terms of performance, this converter works quite well. I tested it by using a DivX AVI file and converting it into the Blackberry 3GP Stereo profile. The conversion took less than 10 seconds for a 30-second clip, and the file played well on VLC. I didn't detect any problems with the file's audio or video.
